AAS Logistics, Warehousing and Supply Chain Management (hybrid and 100% online)

Program Overview:

Graduates of this Associate Program will have a fundamental understanding of supply chain and operations, including international and domestic logistics, distribution, warehouse, and inventory management. They will understand supply chain functions, such as inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, physical distribution, warehousing (pick, pack, put away), and financial controls. Learners will also learn about operations functions, such as strategic sourcing, procurement, sales and operations, and manufacturing. Graduates will focus on understanding the total cost of ownership and efficient delivery of goods and services to the customer. In addition, learners will be able to identify the value chain and critical processes to provide an efficient delivery of products or services to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. Graduates of this program will be qualified to serve as business analysts, logisticians, supply chain supervisors, or as a manager in logistics, warehouses, or buyers.

Program Objectives:

  • Understand the concept of waste reduction in relation to logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management.
  • Learn the basics of data analytics as a relevant tool in supply chain management.
  • Identify functions and processes in the supply chain and provide possible opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with all supply chain functions and operations to review and fulfill customer demand.
  • Work with other functions to identify raw materials and product replenishment.
  • Provide opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with others to solve operations and supply chain disruptions.
  • Identify and implement efficient storage for goods.
  • Identify process risks in the value chain associated with operations and supply chain.

Program Completion:

Students who efficiently complete all required courses in accordance with the college’s Satisfactory Academic Requirements and meet their financial obligations to the college will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science in Logistics, Warehousing and Supply Chain Management degree.

Admissions Requirement:

Any day of the week is applicable for students’ enrollment. Acceptance into a program requires a high school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), a college transcript, or an equivalent.

REGISTRATION:

  • A copy of the applicant’s high school diploma, GED, college transcript, or equivalent is necessary for application.
  • Applicants must fill out and sign an enrollment agreement.

Entrance Assessment:

Applicants must pass the following required assessment tests:

  • Stellar Career College Learning Management Orientation Completion Test
  • Stellar Career College Digital Literacy Test

These assessment tests can be taken online or at the College campus by appointment. Assessment tests are offered free of cost to prospective students.
