Students who efficiently complete all required courses in accordance with the college’s Satisfactory Academic Requirements and meet their financial obligations to the college will be awarded an Associate Degree (AD).
Students must satisfy the following requirements in order to challenge the national certification exam in Sonography through ARRT:
- Must complete Stellar Career College’s ARRT-accredited Sonography educational Program.
- Must demonstrate a level of competence in formal classroom education (didactic coursework) in addition to the clinical requirements of the program.
- Complete an associate’s degree (or higher) in any subject from a college or university that has been awarded accreditation by an agency that ARRT recognizes. Before, after, or while completing a study program in your specific discipline, you can earn the degree at any time.
- ARRT upholds high ethical and professional standards. Students must follow the ARRT Standards of Ethics, along with the Rules of Ethics. Any ethics violations must be reported to ARRT within 30 days of their occurrence. Applicants who fail to comply with these rules risk losing their eligibility. Any day of the week is applicable for students’ enrollment. The applicant will be notified about the next start date when they enroll. Acceptance into a program requires a high school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), a college transcript, or an equivalent.
REGISTRATION
- A copy of the applicant’s high school diploma, GED, college transcript, or equivalent is necessary for application.
- Applicants must fill out and also sign an enrollment agreement.
Applicants who have not completed at least 30 quarter college credits or equivalent will have to take and pass (by scoring 70% or higher) Stellar Career College placement test prior to enrollment. Placement test can be taken online or at the College campus by appointment. Placement test is offered free of cost to prospective students. Placement test is offered through Stellar Career College’s Learning Management System.
Applicants for admission into the MRI, Radiology, NICVS, or Surgical programs must take and successfully pass the Stellar Career College Entrance Exam if they don’t already have at least 30 college credits. The Entrance Exam is available to take online.
