in Dialysis Technologist with Phlebotomy Technician

Program Overview

Hemodialysis, also known as dialysis, is a medical procedure that removes waste products and also extra free water from the blood when the kidneys are failing (kidneys are not functioning normally). Operating the dialysis machine and keeping an eye on the patients undergoing treatment are the responsibilities of hemodialysis technicians.

Dialysis technicians are, therefore, responsible for both patient and equipment care. Most dialysis technicians work in hospitals, hospital outpatient clinics, or dialysis centers and the registered nurses supervise the dialysis technicians. Students who successfully complete our hemodialysis technician program Indiana will be awarded a Certificate of Completion from our State-approved College.

Graduates with diploma in Dialysis Technologist with Phlebotomy Technician will be able to sit for National Certification Exams to become a well-trained Certified Phlebotomy Technician or a Dialysis Technologist.
